THE RULES · VERSION 1
You receive 10,000 non-redeemable virtual points. Your ten-day window starts at the server-recorded entry time. One challenge per signed-in account. No resets or additional points. Maximum 200 picks.
Pick one outcome per event, committing 25–1,000 whole points. Only supported sports events starting within your challenge window are available. Picks close at least one minute before the scheduled start; rescheduled or paused events may lock earlier.
The board displays indicative prices. Review obtains a current best-ask quote with sufficient displayed depth. Your quote lasts up to 20 seconds. Once confirmed, your pick is permanent: no editing, cancellation, selling or cash-out.
At a 50% entry price, a 100-point pick returns 200 points if correct, including the original 100. An incorrect pick returns zero. Returns round down to two decimal places. The simulation does not charge exchange fees or model queues, market impact or actual fills; it is not a forecast of real trading performance.
Only a final resolved source outcome settles a pick. Prices reaching 0% or 100% alone do not count as a result. An explicit 50/50 source resolution returns half the quoted winning return to either outcome; that can differ from your original stake. Disputed, cancelled without a final resolution, or otherwise ambiguous events remain pending.
Score equals 10,000 starting points plus settled profit or loss. Open picks remain valued at their original cost, so ranks are provisional until all results settle. New picks stop after ten days, while existing picks continue to settle. Ties are displayed by entry time, and players may begin on different dates.
Casting review is optional. If you opt in, PBL may assess your record, written reasoning and eligibility and contact you about interviews. A score does not guarantee selection, a team place, a sponsored account, payment or earnings. Any later sponsorship requires separate terms and eligibility checks.
Your account ID, email, consent, timestamps, virtual-point ledger, picks and optional notes are stored in PBL’s database. Public results show an alias, never your email. Casting review is limited to authorized PBL administrators. Local playtest records are kept separate from public entries.
You can play without opting into casting. To withdraw casting interest or request access or deletion of your challenge information, email jh@probettingleague.xyz. Withdrawal does not change the historical scoring of other participants. Contact PBL with questions about retention or deletion.
PBL uses public event data to run an independent virtual simulation. No personal email, account ID or simulated pick is sent to the exchange. Results are checked on challenge and leaderboard refreshes; provider outages can delay updates. No wallets, exchange accounts or real orders are created.
